Masks off!

The whole practical business of life is shifting trust from what you look like to what you are.
 –Douglas Harding–

Try for a moment to accept the idea that you are not what you believe yourself to be, that you overestimate yourself, in fact that you lie to yourself. That you always lie to yourself every moment, all day, all your life. That this lying rules you to such an extent that you cannot control it any more. You are the prey of lying.  [...] You must stop inwardly and observe. Observe without preconceptions, accepting for a time this idea of lying. And if you observe in this way, paying with yourself, without self-pity, giving up all your supposed riches for a moment of reality, perhaps you will suddenly see something you have never before seen in yourself until this day. You will see that you are different from what you think you are. You will see that you are two. One who is not, but takes the place and plays the role of the other. And one who is, yet so weak, so insubstantial, that he no sooner appears than he immediately disappears. He cannot endure lies. The least lie makes him faint away. He does not struggle, he does not resist, he is defeated in advance. Learn to look until you have seen the difference between your two natures, until you have seen the lies, the deception in yourself. When you have seen your two natures, that day, in yourself, the truth will be born.
–Jeanne De Salzman, First Initiation

Above all, be at ease, be as natural and spacious as possible. Slip quietly out of the noose of your habitual anxious self, release all grasping, and relax into your true nature.
Sogyal Rinpoche, The Tibetan Book of Living and Dying

When I see I am nothing, that is Wisdom. When I see I am everything, that is Love. My life is a movement between these two.
Nisargadatta, I am That

The place where even the slightest trace of the 'I' does not exist, alone is Self.
Ramana Maharshi–

I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me.
St.Paul, Galatians 2:20–

When you make the two become one, and when you make the inside like the outside and the outside like the inside [...] then you will enter [the Kingdom].
Jesus, Gospel of Thomas–

There is no division between the observer and the observed; that is the basic reality one must capture.
Jiddu Krishnamurti, The Wholeness of Life

For one who sees Me everywhere and sees everything in Me, I am never lost, nor is he ever lost to Me.
Bhagavad Gita, Ch 6, Verse 30

Be still and know I am God
Psalm 46:10

Become what you are
Pyndar–

Thou Art That

Chandogya Upanishad 6.8.7–
Many are the ways of pointing to Reality, but perhaps only one of misleading ourselves, darkening our awareness by means of the "identification" with one side of the Whole.

What lures our attention? What makes “unbalance” so attractive? What sort of spell turns us into panting zombies? Is it perhaps our selfish tendency to gain something and escape from what is here and now? Is it possible for us to see our inattention, suffering, delusions and every living being as something to include, a clue to discover what we never stopped being, a whole embracing the whole? Everything is pointing directly to the Vast and Pristine Consciousness.
