Bread and Blood of Life

In Jesus and the Essene Calendar we already saw that the Last Supper took place following the solar calendar of Qumran community, which nearly coincided with the official Passover Shabat, and would be either on Tuesday or Wednesday [1].

In the same way, the Last Supper was not a traditional Jewish Passover, but something different.

Passover comes from Pesaj, which means “to pass over”, recalling the episode in which the Destroyer, Yahwe of Hosts, killed the first born of the Egyptians and passed over the houses of the Hebrews, who had been already warned by Divinity, marking the lintels and doorposts with blood of the sacrified paschal lamb, god of the Egyptians, and therefore a symbol of idolatry.

The spiritual meaning of this fable of Exodus 12 was exemplified by Jesus Christ/Yeshua ha Mashiaj, who offered his spirit as replacement for paschal blood, for reasons we will see.

The Holy Supper has all the characteristics of the Seder/Order of the Qumran Essene community, a group meal in which they would listen to the unveiled Teaching, sharing individual impressions.

Such practice inspired the first Christian agape meetings, which eventually became corrupt when they were adopted by the priestly hierarchies of mithraic-babylonian paganism of Rome. And it has barely survived in a few groups of inner work.

In the first times there were already some who attended the seder/agapes just to fill the belly and cause arguments, something the Apostles did not like (1 Corinthians 11:19, 2 Peter 2:13, Jude 12).

In the Essene Seder, water and bread were very important. And in the Last Supper, bread was probably unleavened, for as we read in Matthew 26:17, the supper took place the first day of Unleavened Bread Feast (in accord to the Essene calendar, not the Pharisaic). And the yeast of the bread represents “pride”, “swollen ego”.

Cleanse out the old leaven that you may be a new lump, as you really are unleavened. For Christ, our Passover lamb, has been sacrificed (1 Corinthians 5:7 ESV)

It is also well known that neither Nazarenes nor Essenes ate sacrificed flesh, nor drinked alcohol, having a perpetual nazarite vow (Numbers 6).

Yet it would not be right to think Yeshua was caught by laws, since his Teaching is about fulfilling the Law without being under its hammer.

The Gospels only talk about the Cup with the Blood of the New.

Now as they were eating, Jesus took bread, and after blessing it broke it and gave it to the disciples, and said, “Take, eat; this is my body.” And he took a cup, and when he had given thanks he gave it to them, saying, “Drink of it, all of you, for this is my blood of thec covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins (Matthew 26:26-28, ESV)

In in Luke 22:30 we even read: the New Covenant in my blood, that is, not just a Renewed Covenant, but the direct connection with divine Spirit.

The New Covenant is of a much higher order than the Stone Torah (Instruction/Law) of Exodus 34, unfulfilled by those who rejected the first Spiritual Torah, which Moses had to break and codify, since his folk were so idolatrous that they preferred a Golden Calf (Éxodus 32), namely, something visible to bow down:

For they said to me, ‘Make us gods who shall go before us. As for this Moses, the man who brought us up out of the land of Egypt, we do not know what has become of him.’ (Exodus 32:23 ESV)

And 3500 years later, the idols of the mind and the heart keep sustaining the pantheons of Divine Illusion.

Perhaps this is the reason why the old debate of Law and commandments has been reopened.

But in these times no one should miss the essential.

Certainly, it was said:
Everyone who makes a practice of sinning also practices lawlessness; sin is lawlessness (1 John 3:4 ESV)

Yet does one behave as a true human by obeying an external Law or by acting from the Spirit? Where is the origin of the external Law?

Sin is not just lawlessness, but disconnection from the Mind-Spirit given by the Father Creator. Hence such Mind says:

I you love me, you will keep my commandments (John 14:15)

A great example are two divine messengers who had always an exemplar behavior: Buddha and Yeshua.

Only Love dissipates hate: this is the Dharma (Law)– Buddha, Dhammapada.

Paul would express the same by following the inner Christ:

love is the fulfilling of the law (Romans 13:10 ESV)

Bear one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ (Galatians 6:2 ESV)

That is to say, Yeshua´s teaching is not so much focused on the superficial reading of the Torah as in the spiritual one; the demand is not to obey some written rules but to be filled with loving Intelligence and live in accord with it

That´s the only way one can fulfil all commandments without the risk of falling into transgression:

Do not think I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them (Matthew 5:17, ESV)

the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life (2 Cor 3:6 ESV)

Neither does his Teaching depend on mediators of flesh and stone, but on that which makes one able to fulfill the Supreme Law, namely: the Spirit of Life that teaches us and proceeds from the Highest (Matthew 10:20)

Even Yeshua aknowledged:

It is written in the Prophets, ‘And they will all be taught by God.’ Everyone who has heard and learned from the Father comes to me (John 6:45 ESV)

Yeshua exemplifies and fulfills the prophecies:

I will put my law within them, and I will write it on their hearts (Jeremiah 31:33 ESV)

And I will give you a new heart, and a new spirit I will put within you. And I will remove the heart of stone from your flesh and give you a heart of flesh (Ezekiel 36:26 KJV)

The Apostles were quite aware of what Yeshua came to do:

Whosoever is born of God does not commit sin; for his nature remains in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God (1ª John 3:9 KJV)

For the Law of the Spirit of Life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death (Romans 8:2 KJV)

For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God (Romans 8:14)

It is not clever therefore to brag about Law, or about being sons of the Highest if there are still some stains in the soul.

Self-exam and confession of faults in a group of inner work can be of help to polish the mirror, as the Apostles did (James/Jacob 5:16)

But going to a confession cabin a thousand times is harmful, since, as Peter said, if one falls down into the mud after knowing inner Light and Life, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning...The dog has turned to his own vomit again (2 Peter 2:20 KJV)

If one falls back again it is because one has either not known true Light or not grown fully in Spirit after being born.

It is then absolutely necessary to guard oneself from false doctrines concerning baptism and remission of sins by mere belief. The divine spirit can only wash away faults when it has already flooded the heart and the mind.

As newborn babes, desire the pure milk of the word, that you may grow thereby (1 Peter 2:2 KJV)

The Christ embryo must be formed, then grow, be born and develop in order to save the whole soul (Luke 21). Otherwise, those parts of the soul which have not been liberated must be separated after physical death, leaving an incomplete individuality.

receive with meekness the implanted Word, which is able to save your souls. But be doers of the Word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves (James 1:21 ESV)

My little children, of whom I travail in birth again until Christ be formed in you (Galatians 4:19 KJV)

Meanwhile,

The foxes have holes, and the birds of the air have nests; but the Son of Man has nowhere to lay his head (Matthew 8:20 KJV)

For those who have ears, the ritual of Holy Supper, reveals how Jesus Christ created a sacred bond, giving his spiritual substance, for as it was said:

Truly, truly, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you have no life in you (John 6:53 ESV)

In his gospel, Philip makes it clear that the body of Christ is the Logos/Word, while his blood is the Holy Spirit, Conscious Love, complement of the Spirit of Truth.

It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh is no help at all. The words that I have spoken to you are spirit and life. (John 6:63 ESV)

I am the bread of life. Your fathers ate the manna in the wilderness, and they died. This is the bread that comes down from heaven, so that one may eat of it and not die. (John 6:48 ESV)

I am the vine, you are the branches: He that abides in me, and I in him, the same brings forth much fruit: for without me you can do nothing (John 15:5 KJV)

With the ritual of Bread and Blood, Jesus Christ materializes the anointing of his lineage and hints at the future salvation of the souls attached to the fragments of the Son that are still lost in the world, in many hearts.

But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood (1 Peter 2:9 KJV)

In all true tradition there is a transmission from master to disciple [1]. Yet in Yeshua´s case, the ritual went far beyond that, for he opened a path of access to the lost sheep [tribes] of the House of Israel (Matthew 10:6).

And those lost tribes of Israel are mixed among pagan nations of East and West, and not just the tribe of Judah, from which cultural Jews descend.

According to Scripture, Jesus Christ/Yeshua ha Mashiaj, was the incarnation of an individual that came from the head of the Begotten Son of the Father of Lights (James/Jacob 1:17 ESV)

Paul, describes such Universal Son as radiance of the glory of God and the exact imprint of his nature (Hebrews 1 ESV), since it is the first light-idea begotten within the Mind of the Highest, Father of Lights.

Despite the Son is born within man, it is begotten from the sphere of the Tree of Life that Hebrew kabbalists call Jokmah, Wisdom.

Curiously, Mohammad and the Sufis speak of Allah as Light upon light (Koran, Sura 24)

But how many are able to see connections without adulteration?

The Wisdom of the Son-Prophet or Logos, keeps descending to rescue the fragmented Soul of Adam, which dwells in those whose spiritual seed comes from the Father of Lights (Ephesians 1:4) and not just from the Psyche of the God of Time.

He came unto his own, and his own received him not (John 1:11 KJV)

he [the Christ] is before all things, and by him all things are held together. And he is the head of the body, the church [spiritual congregation]. He is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead (Colossians 1:17-18 ESV)

The idea of being the head is repeated at 1 Cor 11:3, Eph 1:22-23, Eph 5:23, being an important detail that had to be known by all so that no one was cheeky enough to dare sitting on a throne.

In the genuine Teaching, only the Divine Spirit from the Highest, which dwells inside the human, can be High Priest and Mediator of the New Covenant between the Highest One and humanity (Hebrews 9:11-15, 1 Timothy 2:5).

For the [written] law makes men high priests who have weakness (Hebrews 7:28)

For that reason, the Church/Congregation is not a visible and known Church, since the true Congregation is composed of those "firstborn", those "sons of the Highest" that have already being born within the souls of some true humans, after the corresponding birthpangs.

Needless to say, this has nothing to do with belonging to any religion in particular.

According to the Book of Genesis, the father of Nations, Abraham and Sarah his wife, were linked to the East, where we hear about divinities such as creator Brahmah, his wife Saraswati, and Shiva the Destroyer, i.e Yhwh of Hosts, which presumably allude to the God of Time, not to the Highest.

To India went the apostle Thomas, founding the community Nasrani, whose descendants survived nowadays.

And of course, Abraham is also father of Judaism, Christianity and Islam.

It is not a coincidence that Buddha came to correct the idolatric deformations of Brahmanish, while Yeshua corrected the Pharisaic doctors of the Law, playing the role of Christ/Messiah for the tribes of Israel living in Judea:

Before Abraham was, I am (John 8:58)

I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life: no man comes unto the Father, but by me (John 14:6)

The ritual of bread and blood was also linked to the Crucifixion, where Yeshua gives himself to replace the sacrificial lamb of the Old Temple, pointing thus to the New Temple, which humanity has to build in this New Time:

Know you not that you are the temple of God [the Highest], and that the Spirit of God dwells in you? (1 Cor 3:16 KJV)

Thus he defeated the Law of carnal constriction established –not by the supreme Father– but by angels, messengers, as Paul reveals in Galatians 3:19.

Therefore, with the New Covenant, the Son-Prophet hints at the direct contact with the liberated Spirit emanated by the Father, i.e, Conscience of Love, Faith and Hope, so that those who recognize it within, can also be free without torturing themselves.

For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light (Matthew 11:30 ESV)

Of course, Grace can only be effective for those who are able to tune in with the loving Intelligence that dissolves inner darkness, dissipating all ignorance, that is, those who are worthy to be called "sons of the Highest", since they recognize his Presence within.

Sometimes a trauma or extreme suffering situation can help to establish such connection with divine Spirit, if the person focuses the intention properly, even without knowing.

The difficult thing is to sustain it and make it mature. That already requires a deep study of the Teaching in oneself, without the corrupt limitation of external mediators, which can only follow the model of stone law constriction, moving poor horfans to bow down before flesh leaders, statues and images, feeding  the Serpent with their energy.

Wiser is to listen, study and share the Word in group. That was the purpose of the Seder, which the first Nazarene-Christians organised regularly, having as central act the partition of the Bread.

To eat the bread and drink the blood of Christ is to feed that dimension of Being in which we are freed from the tortures and deceptions of this school-world contrieved by the God of Time, our personal coach.

Yet let´s avoid focusing on Divine Darkness, and focus rather on the Immortal Son that is born within, emanated from the Highest One. For both are One and higher.

Hereafter I will not talk much with you: for the Prince of this world comes, and has nothing in me (John 14:30 )

Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world gives, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid (John 14:27)

[1] According to the Hebrew feast calendar, Passover, Pesaj, begins the 14th day, Shabat, of the spring month of Nisan (Exodus 12), which normally does not coincide with the solar Gregorian calendar, for it is lunar. This year the first day of Pesaj is celebrated on April 22.

[2] Naqshbandi Sufies pass the spiritual substance of love from heart to heart, as told by Irina Tweedie in Daughter of Fire.

In the same way, the wise men of Dzogchen Buddhism, lead the disciple without warning into the Luminous Nature of the Mind, Rigpa. An act of grace that transcends traditionalist Buddhism.

In such Dzogchen tradition, mystic gnosis is called Yeshe, which reminds of the Hebrew word Yeshe or Yasha, Salvation, from which Yeshua/Jesus derives.

According to the work Círculo de la Sabiduría, by Dr.Igacio Gómez de Liaño, there´s a possible Western Gnostic influence on Mahayana Buddhism, and therfore, Buddhism might have received a flavour from the Doctrine of Christ, even though Buddhist Doctrine has missing parts of the Teaching.
