Breaking the Veil of the Psyche

Since Passover is near and has to do with breaking the psychic-carnal veil that imprisons and separates humans from the true Light (Exodus 26:31, II Corinthians 3:14), it seems adequate to prepare the ground, unmasking the spider psyche that keeps us attached to the idols of the mind and the heart. 

But I fear that as the serpent deceived Eve by her craftiness, also corrupts your thoughts, drawing them from the sincerity and holiness due to Christ (2 Corinthians 11:3) 

This means that if we really want to live with the Mind of silent Light already at hand to manifest the lucidity and love of the true Human –image of the celestial one–, one needs to let Light disolve the foundations of the evil veil:

Delusion 1: the devil/serpent does not exist

Delusion 2: the devil/serpent exists outside

Delusion 3: the devil/serpent is always other

These delusions come from the dark mind that whips society, generating endless divisive beliefs, empty rituals, politics without divine spirit, illnesses and many other sufferings.

Surely, many recognize passages such as:

The great dragon was cast out, that old serpent called the Devil and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him (Revelation 12:9 KJV)

But the same situation that took place with the Old Testament, repeats itself with the New, because of the "veil of reading" mentioned by Paul in Hebrews 10:19.

The ideas of the Scripture can be very deceptive if one does not know all their context, especially if we allow  ourselves to be deceived by fantasizing dogmas of institutionalized religion, which have been clouding the human mind since long ago.

Such passage is not entirely symbolic, but let´s simply focus on its practical side:

For those committed to inner work, the devil refers to a carnal, selfish, twisted, lier and proyective mind that casts us out of centre, gets us on our nerves and neutralizes all truth by means of the formation of veils, and thus deforming and obstructing of the living information of Reality.

Such deforming mind has its own life; she thinks and feels on her own, without the conscious participation of the human being.

How many times the head spins and spins around worries while the person is unable to stop thinking and abandon resentments, fears, insecurities...? How many times the eyes see and feel things which do not exist?

Vigil existence is a mirage because of the illusory "I´s" of the deforming mind.

With thoughts we build the world.

Think or act with an impure mind

and trouble will follow you

as the wheels follow the ox  

(Buddha, in Dhammapada) 

 Everyone who aspires to live walking under the Light must face this psychic monster, which tries always to evade all contact with the Light of consciousness, filtering the information received by the five senses and intuition, to later proyect them in the form of false thoughts and perceptions, making us see a "distorted reality" lacking vividness.

Is it not surprising to see the richness and strangeness of existence when we suddenly come to our senses, as if something waked up suddenly after a shock? 

That  can only happen when the diabolic mind is not filtering and the knot of the false ego has vanished.

All messengers without exception taught that the root of the evil mind is a self-limitation.

If any man will come after me, let him deny himself...(Mattew 16:24) 

Our inability to let go of the habit of self-grasping and regard ourselves as the centre of the world, we fall under another characteristic of the monstruous psyche: it makes us see a reality full of external enemies, and never internal.

Why behold you the speck that is in your brother´s eye but consider not the beam that is in your own eye (Matthew 7:3 NKJV)

The attitude of contempt towards life and others is what exposes the homo asleep.

Precisely, another of the meanings of devil is the Accuser (Revelation 12:10).

He who points and blames others for the own miseries, is not only an accuser, but something worse.

This is what Yeshua/Jesus said with regard to the religious leaders:

You are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father you will do (John 8:44) 

It is not surprising to see that many still brag about the Law, or even a Lawless Gospel, and politics of change, just to end up repeating the same old mistakes over and over again.

This happens because the vipers dwell inside the carnal mind, and are ruled by the same mechanism of the Law of cause and effect, the Law of debt under which humans fell after eating prematurely from the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil, i.e carnal existence. 

In this physical world, that Law of debt and death, which depends on planetary forces, works for everyone, whether one believes or not in the saving Light of Christ:

Do not be deceived, for whatsoever a man sows, that shall he also reap (Galatians 6:7)

Judge not, and you shall not be judged; condemn not and you shall not be condemned; forgive and you shall be forgiven; give and it shall be given to you...For with the same measure that you measure it shall be measured to you again (Luke 6:38, NKJV) 

Another question would be: how can one fulfil the Law of Spirit (Romans 8:1-2) to manifest the fullness of Love that cancels the carnal Law of debt? 

Simple: by dissolving the demonic mind forever, and before physical death; otherwise, according to the Prophets and many other sages, the personalized soul ends up without memory in the underworld called sheol, until second death, only in case it is not rescued and taken to Abraham´s Bossom (Luke 16).

As for the spiritual mind, the neshemah breath attached to the divine Spirit, it goes back to the Light, as told in Ecclesiastes 12:7. Of course, this spiritual mind can go back to earth to finish its process of full birth, even carrying residual memories from other existences.

It´s not entirely correct to say people reincarnate; only parts of the Soul can do that in the so called Gilgal or Wheel within wheel, mentioned in the Scriptures in many passages, in a veiled way, since it is one of the Mysteries of the Kingdom. 

This was more clear in the New Testament, until many texts were supressed. Yet the notion is still strongly implied in passages such as John 9. Asking about the sin before birth implies the apostles did know about the return. It was also known by the genius Paul, who hints at it in Hebrews 11:15, very slyly by the way.

And this is important to know because the Gigal has become a mortal trap under the Law that governs psyche and body. And the planetary-lunar police that hold it, do not forgive. Debt is debt.

Crucial is the work to dissolve the demonic mind we have attahced, in this life, not tomorrow. At least to make it to Paradise and aspire to go back to Source, the Earthly Kingdom, or another place where help is required.

With regard to the term demon, it derives from daimon, which is the entity that governs the psyche, the psychological soul (nefesh in Hebrew), which does not come from the Light like Spirit, but is given as a garment by planetary Principalities, i.e archontic intelligences of the planets.

Character is for man his daimon (Heraclitus)

And as we said, the daimon has its own life, and is subject to planetary and lunar threads of energy that reinforce the Illusion, the Matrix, Maya.

We do not struggle against flesh and blood but against rulers, authorities, powers...(Ephesians 6:12)

Depending on biological inheritance and day of birth, the daimon is of one character or another.

And if the human being had not to struggle to overcome the pulls of the daimon, what merit would he have?

The daimonic delusion works on many levels, and it is well mirrored on languages and mental tricks, since the Babelian confusion of the tongues, around 2800 B.C.

An example of how the proyections of the hypnotized mind work are the terms associated to daimon and demon, which contain the roots mon and mun, associated to Moon and Mond in German: terms such as Monsanto, and Pokemon or Doraemon, those silly cartoon dwarves that idiotize the minds of our little ones.

Interesting is also the dark story of Mount Hermon, associated to the Fallen Sons of God or Watchers, spiritual people who eventually fell from grace, after becoming identified with the flesh, giving birth to tyranical kings.

There are hundres of word connections of that kind. The idols and false gods are all over, in passtimes, religion, politics, science, and disguise themselves as Truth, even with the garments of Scripture or spiritual ideas. 

The Master and the apostles already warned about them. 

Yet one can learn from everything, be it light or darkness.

Curious is thus the fact that Caesarea Philippo, on the foothills of Mount Hermon (Matthew 16:13) is where Jesus tells the apostles where he was going to establish his church, upon the rock of Peter, who was not exactly a peaceful man, and his passions are to be transformed in us.

These connections should encourage those who thirst for Truth to study themselves and life in depth, with the help of the Way of Transformation, without the veil of the letter that killeth.  

Now, here is another key.

The daimon of the psyche has two poles, two faces, which of course where known by the apostles, since they had a good Master:

Draw near to God and he will draw near to you; cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts double-minded (James/Jacob 4:8)

The word for double minded is dipsychos, which means dual soul. In Genesis II we read that Adam was formed (yetzer) from mud, in the lower part of the Garden of Eden. Curiously, the word "to form" appears with two yods, yyetzer, since it alludes to two contrary impulses: the formation of good (yetzer ha tov), which seeks the other´s wellness and the formation of evil (yetzer ha ra), which seeks only to serve its own interests.

Where did evil came from? That´s a good point to ponder on, but not in this thread.

Now, the human soul needs to start with these two impulses so it can make a choice. But it can´t remain with both forever. The Light must be fed so darkness does not eat it all.

And as the philosopher Kant said, the only good without restriction is Will, and right was he in his Ethics by concluding that pure will –not desire– connects us to Divine Law, which in turn reveals us the essence of God. Very few times a Western philosopher expressed such a great truth so well.

He who chooses darkness, does it by following the selfish wishes of his false mind, whereas he who has a pure intention, is plugged into the Will of the Beloved One.

The great problem in the Garden of Eden was that humans, having access to more Light than today, chose not to love the Divine more than a world of powerful energies they were not able to handle. Thus, humanity was expelled with the implantation of a carnal mind that became more and more complex over time, messing things up to this point we are at.

Now it´s just a question of learning, understanding and of course, wise choice.

We know the daimon of the psyche behaves depending on good or bad habits of thought, feeling and action. 

Yet, by inertia, it tends to move towards the passive-negative side, for it is selfish and rebellious.

We can´t do anyhting without effort:

By the sweat of your brow you will eat your food until you return to the ground...(Genesis 3:19)

The great obstacle is that when one struggles with the selfish impulse without knowing the psychic mechanism, one loses the battle easily, for the psyche is precisely formed to generate tension so there can be reconciliation.

Yet, by Providence, the two impulses of the heart are not on the same level. There is darkness because Light manifests, and not the other way around. Yet in Light there is no opposition; all goes back to loving silence.

Moreover, the Spirit of Life forces Nature to give preference to the active/masculine side, and not to the passive-receptive/feminine side. Both are equally important, yet fulfil different functions.

This is a universal Law that works on all levels:

But I would have you know that the head of every man [i.e human] is Christ [pure Light]; and the head of the woman [soul] is the man [mind]; and the head of Christ is God [Universal One] (1 Corinthians 11:3)

This has nothing to do with childish gender issues  but with objective functions that lead to unity, bliss.

In the Teaching, man represents the mind, whereas the woman represents the soul in the temple of the body. When we read the tale of Adam and Eve in Genesis with that key, many things fall into place. 

On an individual level, each person is Adam and Eve, mind and soul-body, and they have to become one by virtue of the Light of Spirit.  

Such is the union which cancels the fragmentation of the deforming mind. And that is also the way to harmony between man and woman.

The woman is by nature receptive and is happy receiving love, whereas man is happy giving; but in order for that to be possible, both have to receive first from above, as the Bride of the higher Mind. Only then will man be able to give all, being thus admired and respected by the woman, who will also receive all.

This is valid both on marriage issues and individually, with the personal relation to the Higher nature.

But today, the homo know-it-all still does not understand that humanity is the Bride of true Light, not the false lights of pleasures, planets, stars, beliefs and passtimes; humans have to be "receptive" to something higher that does not follow the selfish suggestions of a monkey mind that seeks satisfaction without measure.

Unfortunately, fallen humanity is unfaithfull to the Great Beloved, which gave us the chance to deserve the fullness of Creation, even a Celestial Earth without wars nor suffering.

Thus, Being unfaithful and disgraced, humanity became subject to a whore mind at mercy of blind impulses, thoughts and emotions, waters of death and confusion which are nor hers:

The waters that you saw, where the whore sits, are peoples and multitudes, nations and tongues (Revelation 17:15)

Since very few escape from the whore mind, humanity is not filled with happy men and women, but by the walking dead.

Crucial is then to know the workings of the double-psyche and its relation to Spirit.

Ancient wise men knew that the psyche has two poles, the white horse and black horse of the Platonic-Pythagorean alleagory, described in the dialogue Phaedon.

The white horse are the postivie impulses and emotions (goodness, joy, vitality), while the black one are the negative one (evil, sadness, hunger, pleasure...).

And it is the Charioteer Inteligence what dominates the horses and the chariot, not the other way around.

The emotions and sensations must be "passive" in relation to the higher Mind, i.e Christ.

But the daimonic mind is sly, and learnt to fake goodness. Thus, there are thoughts, joys, pleasures and attractive images that in the long term lead to sadness, pain and ugliness, since the leave the heart empty.

These come from the dark impulse, the wish for satisfaction and not from the will to help the Supreme.

Crucial is to realize that only the Spirit of Light and Life can dominate and transcend the level of opposites, for it is above both:


For the flesh lusts against the spirit, and the spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that you cannot do the things that you would. But if you be led of the Spirit, you are not under the Law (Galatians 5:17, NKJV)  

Inside of me there are two dogs fighting. Which one wins? The one I feed the most.(Native American proverb)  
It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God (Matthew 4:4 NKJV)


  Spiritual food is necessary to feed the Spirit of Life in us, which is conscious love and intelligence. That food is our vital impressions, our understanding, the Word without veil.

Philosophical poets such as Plato knew there is a Driver that holds the horses, but they seemed to ignore there is a deeper Intelligence, the Loving Master that governs both the chariot and the Driver.

In the beginning was the Word (John 1:1)

If thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light (Matthew 6:22)

Only the Great Heart and its Mind of Light will help us to break the veil of the psyche, to transcend all the delusions that keep us away from our true being, to leave behind the idols of flesh and stone, the appearances that make us feel falsely insecure.

We should not forget that the biggest tragedy is to believe we are awake and alive. That is the biggest lie of the demonic mind. 

Awake thou that sleep, and arise from the dead, and the Christ [pure Light] shall shine upon thee (Ephesians 5:15)

As for me, I will behold thy face in righteousness; I shall be satisfied, when I awake, with your likeness (Psalm 17:15)

To wake up is to begin the process of resurrection, and it implies knowing in depth the origin of all traps, and thus understanding there is only one temple where one can praise the Beloved in Spirit: the temple of the body (1 Corinthians 3:16)

Therefore, in the next article we will see the origin of other concepts associated to the devil and satan, such as Behemot, Leviathan, Serpent and Lion, referred to powerful energies that manifest on the body reinforcing the false deforming mind, when they are not properly transformed.
