Unveiling the Trinity

 Celtic Knot. Co.Sligo, Ireland

Al the great teachings have something about the trinity, each with its own nuances, but the two most significant are:

1) The Hebrew-Christian view speaks of the creative Word of YHWH, which encompasses Father´s Will, the Son´s or Cosmic Self-Conscience, and Holy Spirit or Love that connects them both, as we will see.

2) And Brahmanism, a revelation on a different level, attributes the Creation to the AUM Sound, whose letters allude to Brahma or Creative Breath, Shiva or Destroying Force and Visnu or Sustaining Force.

But in the case of the Teaching of Yeshua/Jesus, the Trinity becomes unique and implicit in numerous passages that were never fully explained:

In the beginning there was the Word-Verb [divine emanation], and the Word was with God [YHWH], and God was the Verb (John 1: 1)

No one has ever seen God; The Only Begotten God [Word-Emanation], who is in the bosom of the Father, He has made him known (John 1:18).

According to the ancient Hebrew vision, the Only Begotten Son is the First Thought born in the act of Self-Conscience that the Supreme Being has when He contracts leaving a womb/space of Light where He sees Himself mirrored. And such Divine Realization aspires to be manifested and shared in all its richness. Hence the Love that emerges creates the World and incarnates inside it to redeem it from the Fall.

Holy Father, keep them in your Name, which you have given me, that they may be one, even as we are one (John 17:11)

The Name of the Father is the Son...He gave him his name...He possesses the Name; he has the Son. It is possible for the Son to be seen. The Name, however, is invisible, for it alone is the mystery of the invisible about to come to ears completely filled with it through the Father’s agency. Moreover, as for the Father, his name is not pronounced but is revealed through a Son (Gospel of Truth).

Besides, since it emanates from a deeper realm, this reveals it proceeds from what the ancients also knew as Mother and house of the Supreme Father. After all, the Word is said to dwell in the bosom of the Father.

The term for bosom in the Greek text is kolpos, which also means womb or lap, a clue that refers to the ancient Nazarean view about the feminine or "inmanent" aspect of Divinity, which is the loving Spirit Kadosh of God (Ruach Kadosh Elohim) and its presence on earth, the divine inspiration called the Spirit of Holiness (Ruach ha Kodesh).

We see this view in the Gospel of Truth, attributed to Valentinus, carrier of Pauline theology:

Thus the Word of the Father goes forth into all, being the fruit of his heart and expression of his will. It supports all [YHWH]. It [Yhvshua/Iesous] chooses them and also takes the character of all and purifies them, causing them to return to the Father, to the Mother, Jesus of the utmost sweetness (Gospel of Truth).
The Father opens his bosom, but his bosom is the Holy Spirit. He reveals his hidden self which is his son, so that through the compassion of the Father the Aeons [eternal beings] may know him [1].

However, it is becoming popular to reject the fact that the Trinity is part of the Hebrew teaching. Some even deny the authenticity of the one passage where the Trinity is mentioned explicitly:

Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the Name [YHWH] of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit (Matthew 28:19).

Reading this and other passages ignoring their inspired Hebrew background has led many to interpret on the basis of subjective beliefs, either considering it an interpolation or viewing it as a perfect pretext for capturing adepts with a supposed higher "power and authority."

But the truth is that the Trinity lies in the kabalistic content of the Tetragrammaton YHWH, whose letters allude to the Father who gives the seed (Yod) of Love, which is born in a Matrix/Mother of Life (Hei), engendering a Son of Light-Conscience (Waw), born into the world within multiple human beings who are vehicles of that Life (Hei), Love, Light and Peace.

Thus, it only has three letters, YHW, being the Hei double, for it alludes to the Ruach Kadosh or Holy Spirit of God and to the Spirit of Holiness or Ruach ha Kodesh, which is its presence in the physical world, or as the Nazarenes said, the Divine Mother Of Life and the Daughter, its receptacle.

Thus, the Tetragrammaton YHWH refers to a Divine Action, the unfolding of the Divine Being in all aspects of Life, and therefore, it encompasses both the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, which are the personal roles of One Only Being or Divine Person, just as someone can be Father, Son and inspiring Musician at the same time.

It makes no sense to discuss whether they are three divine persons and one God, an old conventional dogma closer to theo-mythological images like Brahma, Shiva and Visnu. In the end, these are mere symbols meant to awake a higher understanding.

The truth is evident when translating properly the words given in Hebrew, without strange substitutions. YHWH would mean:

I am the breath of loving Life that gives loving Life.

As for the name of the Son, it is given and codified in the Torah, in the name of the successor of Moses, Joshua, translated into Greek as Iesous, while in Hebrew it appears as Yahoshua or Yah is salvation (Yasha), since in Hebrew the letter waw is a connector, so it unites Yah (Divine Name) and Yasha (Salvation).

This gives meaning to passages such as:

And I am YHWH and apart from me there is no Savior (Isaiah 43:11).

And he will have a son and call him Jesus (Yahwshua), because He will save his people from their sins (Luke 1:21).

This Yahwshua is the stone that you builders rejected ... And in no other there is salvation (yasha), because there is no other Name under heaven given to men in which we can be saved (Acts 4:11).

But there are passages from the Torah where Iesous/Jesus appears as Yeshua or Yahoshua, which means the Divine Existence (Yesh) cries for help (shua), within each human being.

And far from being a contradiction, this would expand the meaning:

I heard a voice speaking to me and saying in the Hebrew language: Saul, Saul, why do you persecute me? ... I then said: Who are you, Lord? And the Lord said, I am Yahoshua, whom you persecute (Acts 26: 14-15)

Obviously, all this does not mean one should cry out and plead pronoucing the name Yahwshua, or Jesus, as many parrots do. One rather must aknowledge that Name within, incarnating a state of Being, entering the body of Yahoshua which emanates the Love, Life, Light and Peace from the Father.

The process begins by seeing and recognizing first the false imperfect nature –the so-called "body of sin"–, refusing to feed it so that it dies of starvation. And in any case aknowledge all is reconciled in the new nature.

This also involves nourishing the new nature with study of the Word to understand and with the inner labor of planting conscious love into every experience, rather than with pious labors or hard spiritual works that do not necessarily transform, since it is possible to do just works for wrong reasons and in a purely external or selfish way. The righteous works neither perfect nor justify nor save anyone, but can only be further evidence of the Truth that dwells within.

The message of the Master was clear:

I am the Way, the Truth and the Life; No one comes to the Father except through me (John 14)

put on the Lord Yahwshua/Jesus Christ, and do not think of providing for the lusts of the flesh (Romans 13:14).

put on the new man, made in the image of God (Ephesians 4:24 ).

This means establishing a direct relationship with the Oneness (Ejad) in the Trinity, a vision implicit in several passages:

And this is eternal life: that they know you, the only True God, and to Jesus Christ [Yahwsha ha Mashiaj], whom you have sent...Father, glorify me at your side, with that glory I had with you before the world was... But I pray not only for these [followers that you gave me], but also for those who will believe in me through their word, that they may all be one; as you, O Father, in me, and I in you, that they also may be one in us; That the world may believe that thou hast sent me (John 17: 3-21 KJV).

In the same way the Father contracts to open the space  for the Son and Creation, the Son does the same to bring back Creation to its source, being thus model for humanity:

though He [Yahoshua/Jesus Christ] was in the form [YHWH] of God, did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped, but emptied himself, by taking the form of a servant, being born in the likeness of men. (Philippians 2: 6-7 ).

By detaching from the lies of the physical world, allowing the loving emanations of the Father into the World, souls of regenerated humanity live resting in the serene space of the Son, just as the Son rests in the bosom of the Father (John 1:18), as cells of a great Cosmic Loving Heart-Mind. And all thanks to the unitive and reconciling power, the Holy Spirit.

As Raimon Panikkar said, the Trinity is relationship. But relationship of what? Between Father and Son, which contains the Universe and regenerated humanity, the true Creation:

our communion is with the Father and with his Son Yahwshua/Jesus Christ. We write these things to you so that our joy may be complete (1 John 1: 3-4).

For us, however, there is only one God, the Father, from whom all things proceed, and we are to him; and a Lord, Yahwshua/Jesus Christ, through whom are all things (1 Corinthians 8: 6).

God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself (2 Corinthians 5:19 NKJV).

And for the very fact that we are reconciled with God through the Holy Spirit, also called the Gift of God, some think that it is quite clear that the Holy Spirit is the Love of God, because we are not reconciled with God but through love, by which we are also called sons (Saint Agoustin, De fide et symbolo IX, 19; PL 40, 191-192)

The Holy Spirit is symbolically represented in the Scriptures as much as the Mother or Heavenly Jerusalem (Galatians 4:26) and as the Daughter, the Community of Souls that harbor the longing and love of the Shekhinah, the promised Bride of the Son.

Hence the spiritual Congregation should not be confused with stone churches or with the various carnal congregations/churches, whose members do not differ from other ideological groups and in many cases are far from showing love for the divine.

To be part of true spiritual Congregation is to be part of the Divine Trinity and it depends on an inner fact, a Faith that derives from an experience:

But the fruit of the Spirit (Ruach, Divine Mother) is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, meekness, self-control; against such things there is no law (Galatians 5:22).

These fruits indicate that one has received and matured in the Holy Spirit, which enables one to marry/unite with the Mind of the Messiah, which leads to a deeper development of Wisdom (Jokmah), Understanding (Binah) and Knowledge (Da'at).

And in such union there is complete liberation, without the need of torments nor useless reincarnations that only lead to the repetition of the world madness.

Blessed are the dead who hereafter die in the Lord (Yahwsha) (Revelation 14:13).

I am the Vine and you are the branches (John 15: 5).

And Paul, as good cabalist, called him Messiah Yshua or Christos Iesous:

For there is one God, and also one Mediator between God and men, the Man/Adam Christos Iesous (1 Timothy 2: 5)

And the Name of the Word, Christos Iesous became Jesus Christ:

And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us (John 1:14)

Of course, all this is based on Genesis, kabalistic code par excellence, and other passages:

At first God [Elohim Alef Taf] created the heavens and the earth (Genesis 1: 1).

And Elohim said: let us make Adam in our image and likeness (Genesis 1:26)

He [Christos Iesous] is the image [model] of the invisible God, the first-born of all creation (Colossians 1:15).

By the Word [dabar] of the Lord [YHWH] the heavens were made, and all his army by the breath of his mouth (Psalm 33:6).

All things were made through Him [the Word], and without Him nothing made was made (John 1: 3).

All the fullness of the Deity resides bodily in Him, and you are made complete in Him, who is the head above all power and authority (Colossians 2: 8-10).

Not long ago Pope Francis manifested something that begins very well, but ends with something that gives rise to confusion:

I believe in God - not a Catholic God; there is no Catholic God. There is God, and I believe in Jesus Christ, his incarnation. Jesus is my teacher and my shepherd, but God the Father, Abba, is the Light and the Creator. This is my being.

According to what we have verified, Jesus Christ is the name given by the apostles to the incarnation of the Word or Primordial Adam. However, according to the prophets, the Supreme Being cannot incarnate on earth:

But will God really dwell on the earth? Behold, the heavens and the heavens of heaven can not contain thee, how much less this house which I have built (1 Kings 8:27).

The great misunderstanding derives from the fact that the three attributes or personal functions of the Primordial Adam / YHWH, known as Elohim (powers), are translated in the Bible as "God", a Greco-Latin word tremendously confusing, since by God most people understand the Supreme Being, and not the attributes of the Universal Mind or God the Word, which is the first divine manifestation, result of the concealment (tzimtzum) of the Supreme, which is itself ineffable, without form and without limit, Ayn Sof.

Perhaps that is why Yahoshua distinguished between the Supreme Father (Ayn Sof), whom he called simply My Father, which was his spirit, since Jesus Christ was Primordial Adam's earthly reflection.

In the first century, the Jewish theologian Philo of Alexandria, taking the term Logos of Heraclitus and some notions of Plato, stated that the Logos, the Reason or Divine Word is the Mediator between the Supreme God and humanity, and therefore also the model, since the Supreme does not even have an image:

... the shadow of God is his Logos, which he used as an instrument when he made the world (Philo, Allegorical Interpretations, III, 96).... nothing mortal could be formed in the image of the Supreme Father of the Universe, but only on the basis of the pattern of the second deity, who is the Logos of the Supreme Being (Philo of Alexandria, Questions and Answers on Genesis II: 62)

That is to say, the Logos, as agent of Creation, was also called the Father, something Philip points out in his Gospel, as Jewish Kabbalists also do, distinguishing him from the Grandfather or Ancient of the Days that appears in Daniel 7.

The Hellenized Jewish vision of Philo is undoubtedly behind the conceptual background at the beginning of the Gospel of Yojanan:

In the beginning was the Word [Dabar/Logos], and the Word was in God and the Word was God. He [Emanation-Word] was in the beginning with God. Through Him, God made all things (John 1: 1).

Everything is there in front for those who do their homework and do not allow themselves to be driven by dogmas or hatred for trinitarian visions.

It is true that there are only two explicit references to the trinity in the New Testament, and one of them is a scandalous interpolation of the Roman church, which due to fear and perhaps shame is already encouraged to suppress it from recent Bibles, although it is still present in the most classic ones [2]:

For there are three witnesses in heaven: the Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit, and these three are one (1 John 5: 7).

It must be recognized, however, that this false passage is not without ingenuity, like all good ecclesiastical machinations.

In contrast, a great clue about the Trinity appears in the dismembered passage where the tare was grafted [3]

Well translated from Greek, the passage is a key to understanding what the Teaching calls "types", a perfect kabalistic conundrum:

the Spirit is the one who bears witness, because the Spirit is the truth. And three are the witnesses, the spirit, the water and the blood, and the three are in one (1 John 5: 7)

As a last clue, these three witnesses have to do with the body, soul and spirit of the Primordial Adam, which should be the seal of our body, soul and spirit.

Any misalignment on these three levels will only make us incomplete, depriving us of the rest and liberation that it is offered to us.

So we should remember that: our fellowship is with the Father and with his Son Savior (Iesou). We write these things to you so that our joy may be complete (1 John 1: 3-4).

As a last gift, an Armenian wise man also realized the Word is the Trinity:

At the beginning of every religion we find an affirmation of the existence of God the Word and the Word-God. One teaching says that when the world was still nothing, there were emanations, there was God the Word. God the Word is the world. God said: "Let it be so," and sent the Father and the Son. He is always sending the Father and the Son. And once He sent the Holy Spirit.

Everything in the world obeys the Law of Three, everything existing came into being in accordance with this law. Combinations of positive and negative principles can produce new results, different from the first and the second, only if a third force comes in. If I affirm, she denies and we argue. But nothing new is created until something else is added to the discussion. Then something new arises.

Take the Ray of Creation. At the top is the Absolute, God the Word, divided into three: God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.

The absolute creates in accordance with the same law. only in this case all the three forces necessary to produce a new manifestation are in the absolute himself. he sends them forth from himself, emanates them.

Sometimes the three forces change their places.

the three forces or principles, issuing from the absolute, have created the whole multitude of suns, one of which is our sun. everything has emanations. the interaction of emanations produces new combinations. this refers to man, to the earth and to the microbe.
