For those who no longer conform themselves with simple tales for kids, nor kindergarden religious readings, we´ll say this famous universal Serpent known in mythologies as Apep, Zurvan, Satan, Kundalini, Ouroboros, Saturn, Kronos and so many other names, is none other than the hypnotic and overwhelming energy that keeps the Illusion of Temporal Existence, and which originates in the Divine Mind.
So Satan went out from the presence of the Lord [Yhwh] and struck Job with loathsome sores from the sole of his foot to the crown of his head –Job 2:7, ESV
Such energy is insatiable; never has enough; always wanting more and more, desiring even to devour the Dwelling of the Supreme, as myths say.
It is the Nothingness in the Never Ending Story, whose movie made us dream in the 80´s.
Many remember perhaps the famous Awryn symbol on the cover of the book read by Bastian.
Now, as soon as we become naïve, believing we understand such energy of the void, she devours us with her confusing whirlpools of colorful perceptions, since it is not a mere desire–which alone is harmless–, but an overflowing and voracious Unconscious Imagination that gives a distorted view of reality and thus illegitimate and exaggerate desires in relation to it.
This energy is present in all aspects of life: the selfish wish for survival, the anxious eating without control, sexual lust, the talking mind, the sorrow of death, the wish for power and domination...
We see it in Nature, in science and its pretense of progress, in vanity art, in wild commerce, in old recycled politics...
In reality kundalini is the power of imagination that takes, the power of fantasy, which takes the place of a real function. When a man dreams instead of acting, when his dreams take the place of reality, when a man imagines himself to be an eagle [i.e over-dreaming], a lion [i.e in rage] or a magician [i.e manipulator], it is the force of kundalini acting on him –Gurdjieff, quoted by Ouspensky in Fragments of an Unknown Teaching.

Of course, it is not a coincidence that the artistic managers of the Particle Accelerator Institute, CERN, have chosen these symbols associated to such energy:

While in Judeochristian tradition the number 666 has those suggestive connotations, in quantum physics it can be seen as the composition of living matter, since the Carbon atom is comprised of 6 Neutrons, 6 Protons and 6 Electrons.
Is it not dense matter what constrains us?
As light beings, how did we end up in the mud?
It´s time now to establish some connections with the famous Adam and Eve myth.
Obviously, Adam and Eve were not really a man and a woman running naked on a garden called Eden, tempted by a talking serpent that caused their expulsion from the place.
In synthesis we can say that the unified –but still immature– Consciousness of humanity, called Adam, existed in a higher realm and state of being called Edem, from which the exploration of dense matter regions was possible, in the Garden.
Hebrew tradition affirms that the first Man or Adam ha Ritzon formed in the Garden of Eden, could still see the entire universe from coast to coast, and was able to move through several dimensions.
But when this humanity called Adam mixed with gross matter in the lower part of the Garden, they turned their attention from their divine consciousness (Yhwh Elohym), and became subject to the electric forces of the so-called Semi-Maker or Demiurge, simply Elohym in Hebrew, which is none other than the intelligent forces of stars and planets. Hence the word Elohym is equivalent to Ha Teba, Nature (gematria =86).
The intelligences of Nature are mechanical, that is, they lack free will. The sun, moon, stars and planets and their souls only obey higher orders, or respond to lower demands, as the selfish desires of humanity.
And the stellar electric dynamism of Elohym made impossible hold the state of consciousness known as Eden. A fact that´s also told in the Popul Vu or Mayan Bible, as well as other ancient texts.
The mythical tales, such as the Symposium of Plato or the Genesis account, symbolize the first human as an androgynous being, man and woman at the same time.
And God [Elohym] created man [humankind] in his own image; in the image of God created he them [humans]; male and female created he them–Genesis 1:27
At this point Eve had not been separated yet from Adam´s side. Adam was a humanity that did not use physical bodies and whose consciousness was far superior to that of the dressed hominoid some call "human" today.
And as we have seen, ancient teachings use different mythological characters referring to different levels of Being.
In the case of Genesis 2, Yhwh Elohym alludes to Adam´s higher consciousness; the Adam formed out of the dust of subtle earth, adamah, is the mind; Eve is the vital-emotional nature, and the Serpent is the wish to be like God and have more than corresponded to their level of maturity.
For God knows that when you eat of it [Tree of Knowledge] your eyes shall be open, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil–Genesis 3:5
In spite of being mini gods –image of Ywhw Elohym–, adamic humans wished to be and know more without understanding.
Moved by an illegitimate desire, the "lower soul" (Eve) mixed too soon with physical reality, getting trapped in corrupt bodies infused with serpentine desires, giving as a result a horrible mixture of animalily and rationality known as Cain and Lucifer.
This sheds light on famous passages, as that of Isaiah 14, which speaks of the sons of the dawn –which St.Jerome called Lucifer–, who ended up inhabiting the earth in the form of tyrants, such as the king of Babylon:
In the same way there is no Out-breath without In-breath, Light without Darkness, Magnetism without Electricity, there is not Creator without Destroyer, Love without Hate, Illumination without Ignorance, and of course, no Christ without Lucifer, whom Paul called, respectively, last and first Adam (1 Corinthians 15:45).
The old wise Heraclitus said the way up and the way down are one and the same.
Therefore, there is only one way to defeat the serpent, which is turning it against itself, by using the same devouring mechanism, finding a "third force" beyond duality. Eating it up or being eaten by it. There is no other way out of Time.
This is the strategy used by the Creator, repeated by mythic heroes and Messiahs, showing us the Way to the Great Peace, the timeless reality that surrounds us.
But let´s leave these secrets for the next part.

In
Ezekiel 28 and 31 we are told Lucifer inhabited Eden, clothed
with precious ornaments, walking on stones of fire [stars?
planets?], as a guardian or protector whose pride led him...to
the world below, among the children of man, with those who
go down to the pit ...ending up incarnated
in characters such as the pharaoh.
Similar
accounts are found in Greek poets who speak of Epimetheus, who,
disobeying his wiser brother Prometheus (higher mind), accepted
the gift of Pandora, sent by Zeus [i.e Elohym], a large vase
or pithos
–reminiscent of pyhtos,
serpent– from which came all curses of humanity after opening
it.
Pandora
means "all gifts", since in this electric universe of the
senses –represented by Cernunnos and the god Pan–, is full
of "gifts" that can easily turn into "curses"
when one has incorporated the Evil Eye that cannot understand
the indivisibility of good and bad, pleasure and pain, light
and darkness.
And
if your eye causes you to sin cut it off and throw it away. It
is better for you to enter life with one eye than with two eyes
be thrown into the hell of fire –Matthew 18:9
Descent
into physical matter was only meant for the last day of
Creation, the Shabat or Rest, when humanity is already a perfect vessel for divine consciousness, when all is in
unity.
Reason why we must understand that free
will must include the chance to fall, for how could one value
unity without experiencing division first?
And
the fifth angel blew his trumpet and I saw a star fallen from
heaven and he was given the key to the shaft of the
bottomless pit –Revelation 9
Humanity
became trapped by the raw energy of the Serpent-Time that dwells in
the bottomless well known as chasm–where we are right now, by the
way.
Very
few enjoy acknowledging it, and then make up fantasies,
including the conspiracies of demons and extraterrestrials.
Yet
the only conspiracy is self-enslavement, by loving ignorance and suffering, the
passional and unconditional subscription to the insatiable
energy of wishing more and more: all for me, which
I deserve it.
Nevertheless, this energy hides the greatest of
secrets, since it expresses itself as two diametrically opposite
but inseparable ways.
